Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to gain an entry level Technical role within the UK food industry.

Our client based in London, produces a wide range of chilled food products and supplies the UK’s major retailers. This is a multi unit site, which makes up part of a large chilled food manufacturing group, known as a market leader within the chilled food arena.

In this role you will report into the Raw Materials Manager to help assist in the general day to day operation of managing all aspects of raw materials control. You will maintain retailer requirement lists with regards to raw materials and all relevant and applicable Codes of Practices. You will regularly access Retailer websites to keep up to date with their requirements.

You will assist the Technical/Quality Assurance Team with the investigation of non-conformances for raw materials and follow up with suppliers as necessary. You must maintain a database of all raw material non-conformances and trend to provide information on supplier performance and addressing recurring issues.

Monday – Friday – 8am – 5pm
