Job Description

Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition is part of Group Danone, they are responsible for producing foods for special medical purposes for patients who require specialist diets including Cows Milk Allergy and inherited metabolic conditions such as PKU.

The business is currently looking for experienced Product Development professionals with a passion for Innovation and creativity who are committed to identifying new ideas to feed into long term pipeline, and drive the technical development of new innovations from concept to launch. The role comes with a great deal of autonomy and flexibility to develop your own ideas and you should be able to demonstrate a curiosity to seek solutions and support from others. Working as part of cross-functional teams and across different site locations is also key to this role. A natural passion for nutritional innovations and creativity is essential for this role as is a proactive approach and ability to build excellent relationships with colleagues and suppliers.

Drive, ambition and a passion for innovative food products are the key attributes that are sought for this exciting opportunity within Danone’s Medical Division. The successful candidates will have a sound scientific background in pharmaceuticals, nutrition or food science. Experience of working with powders would be of particular interest, for example milk protein powders or amino acid containing powders. A good understanding and experience of sensory analysis would be very beneficial for this role.
