Job Description

This is a good opportunity to join an established company that supplies most of the UK’s major retailers with imported fresh fruit. This is a dual site based role, which will see you in Kent for four days a week and the other day will be spent at another site in Hampshire - for which a car and accommodation will be provided.

In this role you will report into a QA Manager and will have one QC reporting directly in. The main remit of the role is to ensure both customer and internal quality service levels are achieved and understood by all within the factory.

You will also be responsible for effective management of stock control through the positive release process. You will have direct contact with the retail customer to ensure the delivered product is to agreed standards.

Monday – Friday 8pm – 5.30pm. You will work one in three weekends.

• Have good people management skills, as the role requires you to communicate quality standards to all levels within the factory.
• Ideally have experience of QC within a Fruit packing environment.
• Driving licence needed as the role requires travelling.
