Job Description

Our client is the 2nd largest fresh food manufacturer in the UK and is currently experiencing a significant growth phase throughout the business.With many sites throughout the UK and further planned organic and acquisitive growth, our client is now looking to further strengthen the management team by the appointment of a Technical Manager

Reporting to the Lead Technical Manager you will be responsible for providing technical advice and support at the heart of the trading teams and managing third party suppliers so that standards for quality, safety, legality, corporate social responsibility and integrity are achieved, statutory compliance requirements are met, and business and commercial improvements are achieved.

The successful applicant will hold a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a closely related discipline and have a good working knowledge of  HACCP or FMEA. You will be enthusiastic and flexible with excellent communication, investigative organising skills and a high degree of self-motivation.
