A Transport Manager is sought for a busy, fast paced, chilled food manufacturing business in Scotland. This role is a result of a recent expansion!

Job Description

Our client supplies one of the UK’s largest retailers with a wide range of ready to eat and ready to cook chilled food products. This site forms part of a large chilled food manufacturing group that is well known within the industry.

As Transport Manager you will lead and manage the team, to ensure the delivery of agreed KPI’s within your area and collate relevant data to measure and drive through performance and improvements against agreed KPI’s.

As health and safety is key, you must ensure that all staff take H&S seriously within their areas and adhere to safe working practices at all times.

Wherever necessary and appropriate, you will manage the movement or transfer of resources between areas including people in addition to materials.

In this role you will manage a team of eight (Including FTL Drivers)To apply for this role you must:

Have the ability to lead and motivate a Transport team with a proactive style.
Be able to operate at an efficient pace, within an ever changing environment.
Have a good analytical and numerical capability, along with ability to interpret data.
