Job Description

Our client is an importer and manufacturer of a range of Mediterranean products. They offer both ambient and chilled goods, ranging from jarred olives to fresh cheese. They are a family run business, set up over 50 years ago. Quality, value for money and excellent customer services are always at the heart of everything they do.

This role is fairly unique, as it combines both a commercial aspect alongside being innovative and developing new products. You will have a commercial background, with experience of building relationships with suppliers and customers to increase the company’s exposure and profitability. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager and communicate with many different partners within the business, both internally and externally. With this, they are looking for a candidate who has had experience in New Product Development. The company are always trying to expand their product range, and so to do this they want to introduce a developer, who can really drive innovation and be very creative.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute highly innovative and food driven individual who is looking to combine both of these skills. You will need to have an innovative vision, but still be commercially aware. In addition you will need to have had experience with major retailers.
