If you are an experienced NPD Manager with a proven track record of delivering chilled products for retail or in a Senior Technologist role ready to take on more responsibility we’d like to hear from you.

This client is in a period of change, seeing significant growth and as such need to increase their NPD Team. Everyone in this business is clearly passionate about food and proud of food they produce. They will continue to strive to lead the way in the chilled prepared foods and endeavour to be the best. They are happy to learn from others with experience who can add expertise to their business.

In the role of NPD Manager you too will need to clearly demonstrate a passion and knowledge for food. You will show that you can lead and mentor others in the NPD Team, and influence cross functional teams. Collaboration with others is essential; show them the benefits and importance of the Development team. This is a customer facing role therefore your approach needs to be polished and professional yet open and receptive. The role will report to the Head of Food for the business.

Previous experience of working in a chilled manufacturing environment; ready meals would be a definite advantage. You will need excellent organisational and interpersonal skills along with effective project management skills.

Working closely with customers you should be able to recognise and pre-empt their needs and identify solutions, really driving NPD. This business does not have layers of bureaucracy, therefore you can influence, implement and deliver fairly swiftly.
