Job Description

Our Client is a market leader in the Dairy industry. This business manufactures and distributes a number of branded and non-branded products, with 13 sites across the UK and France. The focus within this company is on brand strengths and customer needs, which is why they are now looking for a strong player in one of the biggest food categories.

We are looking for a Development Technologist who can be a part of driving forward the growth and development plans for the cheese sector. You will work closely with the development team and aid new product innovations, to ensure the safety and the quality of the products produced. Supporting development is a key part of this role and so running trials, conducting research and maintaining up to date documentation is vital. Safety and success of development projects is key and so a large part of your role will be to ensure that new products are created and developed in a safe but also successful manner.

You will report into the Delivery Development Manager, with a role of providing them support and assistance in their remit. They are looking for a technically qualified individual who has had previous experience working within a development technologist role in a chilled environment. You will be a team player, with a commercial mind and a real interest in foods.
