Job Description

Our client produces an exciting range of chilled products, which it supplies to major UK multiples. This international food manufacturing group, can definitely be called a market leader in the chilled food arena. Based in the East of England our client is innovative and driven to continue to succeed.

This role will focus on designing and evaluating innovative processing options, which implement new products into the factory effectively and efficiently. As always there is a need for continuous improvement in business efficiency and cost reduction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record and will have an in-depth knowledge of processes within a food manufacturer.Key responsibilities include:

The successful scale up of new products from concept through to launch with a view to developing the most efficient/cost effective process in line with required standards.
Delivering robust labour and product costings and ensuring regular updates are communicated to key stakeholders.
Liaising with Production, supporting the planning, organising and controlling of resources to achieve effective day to day management of trials and long term achievement of critical paths.
Leading, motivating and inspiring direct reports to achieve personal and departmental goals.

Must haves for this role

• Previous experiences within a similar role in a food manufacturing environment
• Experience of factory scale up of new products
• An in-depth understanding of machinery and processes within a factory
