Job Description

Noble Foods is the biggest integrated egg business in Europe with a large share of the UK retail shell egg market. It has five divisions, and the shell division is the biggest, incorporating both the egg production (farms) and packing; the other divisions are Milling, Egg Products, Poultry and Desserts. Noble Foods produces award winning products for the leading UK retailers with brands including Happy Eggs and Gü puddings to name but a few.

The business is seeking to recruit fresh talent in the form of a Farm Management trainee who will be based at Noble Foods own farms. This person is expected to reach Area Manager level in 3-5 years with responsibility for managing a number of farms including people management.

This is a two-year graduate scheme; the successful applicant could be based at any one of Noble Foods farms. The first part of their training will involve a corporate induction, working on the farm looking after the birds, carrying out day to day farm related activities and undertaking technical training which will involve learning about disease and livestock management.

You must be expecting or have attained a 2:1 Honours degree and ideally have an interest or some practical experience in agriculture, not necessary poultry. You must also have achieved a minimum of 280 UCAS points. You must be an energetic and highly driven graduate, ideally passionate about animal welfare.

We are conducting first stage interviews right now, with assessment centres scheduled in January/February so to avoid disappointed call or email your CV and covering letter in immediately to be considered for this great graduate development scheme in a leading UK food company.
