Summary

This role requires an experienced Senior Food Technical Manager within Chilled Food Manufacture to manage the Technical Function (Technical Manager and Technical Systems Manager) and develop the Technical Strategy on site.

Job Description

This company is looking to recruit an experienced food technical professional with a track record of strategically and tactically delivering through the team. As Head of Technical you will report to the MD and be part of the Site Senior Team. Your role will ensure that there are the right procedures in place to ensure confidence with the Retailers.

You would develop and drive a Technical Strategy ensuring it meet the strategic needs of the business. You would oversee customer/supplier communication on technical matters. You would act as champion for all Food Safety and Quality standards across the business. You would provide technical expertise to the Business Executive team and technical input to the formulation of Business strategy. Ensure technical compliance is effectively measured across the business and where necessary corrective and preventative action plans are put into place.
