Job Description

Our client, based in the East Midlands, is a chilled savoury food manufacturing company looking to enhance its Sales Operation with an ambitious National Account Manager to manage one of its premium Grocery Retailer Accounts.

As the National Account Manager you will be responsible for the day to day requirements of the Sainsbury’s business, and therefore the customer relationship, across both own label and branded products. The ability to manage and deliver significant growth as well as managing the day to day requirements is a key function of this role.

You must have experience of national account management with Sainsbury’s. You will have proven ability in managing and developing accounts in a FMCG blue chip company. The successful candidate will be a focused and ambitious individual with excellent relationship building skills in order to forge a strong partnership with the Retail Buyer. Educated to degree standard, or can demonstrate graduate calibre, you will be a team player, adaptable, flexible and results driven.

The ideal candidate will be a good communicator with ability to influence and manage change with detailed knowledge of Retail trade. Our client is looking for people who are self-starters with ambition, motivation and drive to deliver results today and to progress their career to the next level.
