A Planner is sought for a large, growing, fast paced, chilled food manufacturer.

Job Description

Our client is a fast paced, chilled food manufacturer that supplies most of the major retailers with short shelf life products. The factory is based in London and is very commutable with a tube station nearby.

In this role you will co-ordinate the Sales & Operation planning process, to deliver a “factory focused” forecast with short term forecasting to ensure product stability and customer service.You will ensure accurate information is communicated in a timely and efficient manner. Cultivate contact with customers and Supply Chain team to build trust and recommend changes in practices.

Customer service levels must also be maintained at 100% at minimum cost. You will also determine inventory levels and replenishment rules to minimise out of life disposals to finished product. This is to be achieved by balancing the most efficient weekly production cycles with the optimum daily volumes.

If you are to apply for this position, you must have experience in a planning role within a FMCG company.
