We are recruiting for a Shift Manager who has the ability to drive change in a leading chilled food manufacturing business.

Job Description

With this site currently going through a major change process, it is the ideal time for a proven production candidate to join to help drive the business forward operationally. The site produces a wide range of high quality chilled food products and supplies the UK’s major retailers. This company has real opportunities for ambitious production candidates.

The main remit of this role is to be seen as a mentor and coach to your team whilst delivering against agreed standards and KPIs.

You will manage the communication process in your area to ensure that the workforce is well informed on relevant business news and to encourage effective cross-functional links and ensure that channels of communication are clear and understood. You will manage the performance of all team members including direct reports through the use of the company’s performance managements systems.

To apply for this role you must have:

• People Management experience within a chilled food environment
• A track record of developing team leaders and operatives
• Demonstrate the ability to improve production process through the team.
• Excellent communication skills

Shift Pattern is 4 on – 4 off - Day Shift
