Job Description

Recruiting an Interim New Product Development Manager for a leading national client. We are looking for an experienced Food Product Development Manager who has excellent project management skills and experienced in leading a team. A Product Developer who has managed the critical path and worked closely with other functions to ensure timely delivery of products with a concept bias. You will be tasked to manage projects in multiple categories that could include, chilled and ambient products working in tandem with the supply base, developing new and continually evolving existing categories and ranges, supporting, guiding and challenging them to deliver products ensuring the front position ahead of the competition in terms of actual product offer and commercials. Always with the clear aim of maximising sales and not diluting from another area.

You will need to propose clear briefs and ensure at all times you are of aware of the critical path working towards specific launch windows. Working collaboratively with the supply base you will identify new business opportunities.

Reporting to the Head of NPD you will deliver products in accordance with the set business strategy, responding to customer insights, trend information and competitor activity. Combined with this you will need to be passionate about food, innovative focused and systematic, a careful planner with an eye for detail.
