Experienced Food Process Manager sought to lead dynamic Process Team in busy food manufacturing operations.

Job Description

Our client, based in the East Midlands produces a wide range of chilled and ambient products and they supply both retail and foodservice customers. You will have the pride of seeing products you are directly responsible for on the shelves of the major retailers and work within a highly engaging environment.

You will manage the process of NPD projects entering the factory and launched as final products. You must ensure that process development procedures and practices are adhered to. You will work with the New Product Development Managers and teams to ensure that all final products launched meet all food safety, food quality and food legality regulations and codes of practice.

Planning, organising and controlling resources to achieve effective day to day management of trials and long term achievement of critical paths.

You will be involved in the selection process for direct reports. You will manage training and development of individuals within their area to enable progression to resource growth or to replace current roles, and to ensure that the necessary skills are in place at all levels.
