This is a great opportunity for a Senior Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of prominent food brand to agreed personal objectives.

Job Description


Our client has a blue chip reputation with multiple sites, within a fast paced food manufacturing environment. They are a market leader producing branded household named food products.

Purpose of Job

  • Deliver the product brand market and financial KPIs through excellent execution of launch and brand plans and active engagement in the S&OP process.
  • Create and deliver brand plans.
  • Building effective internal & external networks to deliver the brand plans.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Annual Brand Situational Analysis and Brand Plan of Product Brand.
  • Develop and deliver the communications programme including advertising, ATL and BTL, PR, design.
  • Project management of all brand NPD.
  • Appropriate actions and tactics are to be recommended through the fiscal cycle to ensure that budgeted profit is delivered.
  • Ensure sales teams are fully briefed on marketing plans and are fully implementing appropriate brand activity.
  • Be responsible for the monthly forecast cycle for these brands & products. Concurrently to manage their A&P accounts with Finance.
  • Effective management of the 'day-to-day' concerns on these brands & products e.g. quality issues, monthly forecast cycle.
  • Factory liaison – representing brand team at site operational project meetings.
  • Build relationships and liaise with agencies – Advertising, BTL, PR, Media.

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Graduate or of graduate ability.
  • Desirable: Experience of working on an FMCG kids’ brand.

Key Skills/Knowledge

  • Strategic Thinking.
  • Excellent commercial understanding & ability to make sound recommendations.
  • Knowledge and experience of NPD and product development.
  • Good knowledge of marketing communications development.
  • Presentation skills – able to fluently and clearly present plans and recommendations.
  • Strong Project management skills – planning and prioritization.
  • Experience of consumer research, both qualitative and quantitative.

Experience

  • Experience in marketing in FMCG environment.
  • Strong project management of NPD.
  • Advertising development.
