A Stock Replenishment Coordinator is sought to join a fast paced planning department within a blue chip food manufacturer.
Job Description
Our client based in Somerset produces a wide range of chilled short shelf food products for the UK’s major retailers. This role has been created to provide extra support for the planning department.
The main remit of this role is to help replenish both raw ingredients and packaging supplies in accordance to the planning forecast. You must maintain agreed stock levels, ensuring all products are used within the product life and order chemicals as required on a weekly basis.You will discuss with suppliers and internal departments any issues regarding stock items, resolving problems with quality, delivery times or shortages to a satisfactory conclusion, flagging unresolved issues to the Purchasing Manager and the Planning Manager.
You must determine inventory levels and replenishment rules to minimise out of life disposals of raw material. This is to be achieved by balancing the most efficient delivery cycles with the optimum volumes.
