As an International food manufacturing business our client can offer a truly dynamic environment in which to work. In return they are seeking inspirational leadership for their multi-site logistics operation. Experience in an FMCG/food manufacturing environment is desired. With a driven results orientated attitude, you will be tasked to lead the logistics team, driving continuous improvements across customer service, cost, productivity and legal compliance through the development of high performing site teams. You will have overall budget responsibility and responsibility for both fleets and employees. Experience of retail logistics, operating at Operations Director level either in-house or within a third party site, ideally with an appreciation of food manufacturing logistics industry. You need to ensure best practice is adhered to at all times and it is essential that you have strong man management, influencing and negotiation skills.
