Process Development Manager

Job Description

This chilled food manufacturer is looking for someone who thrives on continually improving processes whether through identifying better manufacturing methods, developing and investigating new technologies or simply procedural fine tuning - all within the remit of food safety. Along with technical, production and engineering teams, you will instigate, organise and lead trials that result in improvements to the production process and efficiency. You will need to have experience of working with product development teams within the chilled food manufacturing industry and demonstrate a complete understanding of factors affecting food safety and process variability of chilled products and raw materials. Good communication skills are essential and ideally you should be accustomed to working with the major retail customer base.

You will be responsible for a team of two Food Process Engineers

You will require a Food Related Degree - Food Science, Food Processing or Food engineering
