Assistant Technical Manager

Job Description

This company manufactures ambient food products, and is part of a Global Food Business.
The roles primary objective is to ensure that the company satisfies their customer's requirements with the correct, safe and quality product, on time and in full, every time.

The person will be responsible for the implementation and continual development of a robust QA system that meets all codes of practice, legal requirements and the needs of the business. They will prepare for and assist with the BRC audit, including management actions within specified timescales.

To apply you will need a proven track record of achievement in a quality / technical role with knowledge of microbiology, experience of managing specification and managing hygiene methodology and practices.

Experience of dealing directly with customers along with taking ownership for Technical visits.

This role report into the Technical Manager.
