Provimi is active worldwide in all types of animal nutrition and is a leader in all markets where it is present. It employs over 8,600 people and has sales of EUR 2 billion. Provimi has 100 production centres in some 30 countries and exports to over 100 countries. Provimi manufactures products and supplies technical support for all species, including ruminants, poultry, swine, fish and pets. The Research and Innovation Centre, located in Brussels (Belgium), runs innovative research projects and co-ordinates research activities across the Provimi group. Position
- Responsible for managing an active, innovative research programme to discover and evaluate new ideas for nutritional products and technical services, using company-owned and third-party facilities
- Collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver the near-market development needed to turn ideas into products
- Maintaining cutting-edge personal knowledge and expertise in dairy nutrition
- Participating in a team approach to drive innovation and technology transfer within Provimi
- Providing high-level support to other technical functions within Provimi
- Reporting to the Director of the Provimi Research and Innovation Centre

Profile
- Master's degree with additional PhD in animal nutrition
- Minimum five years of postgraduate experience in commercial (feed industry) or academic research in dairy nutrition
- Strong interest and involvement in the development of dairy science and the dairy industry
- Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams in an international business setting, with regular travel (± 25%)
- Excellent communication, with fluency in English and preferably a good command of other European languages
- Personal skills: self motivated, analytical, creative, setting priorities, convincing, planning and organizing, leadership, pragmatic and team player
