Interim Specifications Technologist

Job Description

Working for this rapidly growing food manufacturer supplying a diverse product range, the Specifications Technologist will be responsible for maintaining and updating specifications and liaising with the major retailers and others. You will collate data from various sources and interpret the information such that it matches the requirements of the customer. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating current legislation relating to the company's products and ensuring that all products conform to relevant legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills both written and verbal with experience of working with major retailer specifications systems (ASDA, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Morrison's), HARA documentation and artwork approval.
