Job Description

Do you have Supply Chain, Sales & Retail business experience then we are looking for a Customer Supply Chain Manager for our client who is the UK's leading food producer, they manufacture some of the nation's favourite foods. The chances are you have one of their branded food products in your home - more that 98% of all UK households do. The annual group turnover is over £2.7 billion with 20,000 people on more than 60 sites throughout the UK. You will represent the Supply Chain function within the Sales teams. You will own the Supply Chain performance between finished product source and customer shelf within identified retail partners You will be - ·Accountable for total supply chain service including order capture and processing, product availability, optimised internal routing, data transfer and Customer Supply Chain liaison. ·Responsible for leading the Sales Team and the customer in securing outstanding on-shelf availability of there product through enhancing total supply chain performance ·Accountable for increasing customer service and supply chain performance. ·Deliver target service performance on all aspects of order processing, product availability ex manufacture, "trunking" on time, radial delivery. ·Support supply efforts at the customer enabling improved on-shelf availability ·Map, develop and maintain key communication channels with the Customer's Supply Chain operation We are looking for- Good analytical skills. Strong influencing skills at all levels - internal and external Confident presenter with ability to vary style accordingly Ability to make data driven decisions Excellent planning and organisational skills Computer literate - in particular Microsoft office applications Good commercial awareness Customer focus A food manufacturing background is not essential more the ability to fit into a FMCG environment This really is a fantastic opportunity to join home of Britain's favourite foods for a challenging and rewarding career.
