Development Chef - Restaurant Chain

Job Description

A Development Chef is required for a well known restaurant chain, a leader in casual dining. This stylish and relaxed dining group offers a broad range of Mediterranean dishes. With this in mind we are seeking a Chef who has first hand experience of Mediterranean food, Italian in particular, you will need to have worked at a senior level, and have considerable experience in developing and evolving menus, be able to develop dished that hold brand values in terms of product offer and commerciality. Reporting to, and working closely with the Head of Food you will research and explore new dishes and work along side training and site chefs to ensure consistency and accurate delivery across the Group. You will lead and educate, share and inspire a passion for food and service. On practical terms you must be able to project manage, accurately record and share information from kitchen to board level. Articulate interpersonal skills and a high degree of flexibility in your approach will be required at all times.
