Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join this chilled cooked meat manufacturer who has a solid reputation for customer service and quality of its products and deals with one of the UK's major retailers. You'll be passionate about food, its quality and production. Your main task will be to maintain and develop quality systems and drive the technical function forward. You will act as a centre of knowledge and excellence on matters of quality, safety and due diligence. It is therefore essential that you have experience of working not only in food manufacturing but, ideally, in the production of high risk chilled products. You will need to demonstrate a track record in factory auditing, undertaking risk assessments, investigating customer complaints and driving forward training to continually improve the performance of operatives. A real can-do attitude and strong relationship building skills are essential. You will need to have a food related HND/degree or equivalent. Shift Pattern Days 6 - 2 and 2 - 10 alternating weeks.
