Food Safety / Hygiene Services Manager

Job Description

This Edinburgh based business has a strong portfolio of branded prpoducts and is looking to appoint a specialist responsible for Food Safety and Hygiene Services. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager you will be responsible for:

·ensuring compliance with customer and legislatory requirements
·managing hygiene service contracts
·internal auditing and continuous review of HACCP
·involvement with high profile customer audits / visits
·food hygiene training delivery

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent (food science / technology discipline) and will have several years of management experience within the Food Industry. To succeed you will need to have strong communication and influencing skills and have had the opportunity to demonstrate your analytical abilities.
