Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a purchasing specialist to take the next step up to a senior level role with responsibility for direct and indirects for this £300m turnover business. You will have at least five years experience in a purchasing capacity and have had ownership for a significant amount of spend in the food, FMCG or automotive industry. We need someone who takes a sophisticated approach to buying either in their approach to heading up purchasing for a small business or to building and leading a category for a corporate player. Ideally you will have your CIPS and be degree qualified. We are looking for an individual with drive and ambition. Reporting directly to the Purchasing Director you will ultimately have the autonomy to deliver to your initial remit and to grow both the role and your personal development. This is a progressive business with an exciting and realistic business plan and this role offers the opportunity to make your mark both within this business and the food industry.
