Job Description

This successful food business requires a Factory Manager to manage all aspects of the operation with a particular emphasis on the outbound production and logistics area, to agreed standards and targets, making significant contribution to continued business success. You will be an experienced Manufacturing Manager and will have been accountable for budgetary control, driving performance standards and KPI achievement. Regular customer interface, exacting quality standards, best practice manufacturing techniques and a high level of NPD activity all impact greatly on this role. You must show a strong desire to over deliver on expectations in terms of customer needs and factory performance. A proven and successful man manager, you will be able to create an environment where individuals challenge the status quo, embrace change and drive a culture of Continuous Improvement. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will have worked in a fast paced environment and will have experience of unionised sites.
