Job Description

Nutricima is a high quality food manufacturer and distributor of dairy and nutritional products, based in Lagos, Nigeria. The company is a 50/50 joint venture between the Irish multinational Glanbia (www.glanbia.com) and the UK multinational PZ Cussons (www.pzcussons.com). The joint venture has revenue of over USD 120 million, employs over 250 staff and has a world class manufacturing plant. A further major new factory will be completed in Q4, 2008. Nutricima supplies evaporated milk and milk powder to the local Nigerian market. Glanbia brings knowledge of the operation of world class food plants and food innovation, while PZ Cussons has over a century of experience in trading in Nigeria.

Salary (of which a large proportion will be tax free) C.£55,000 plus pension, flights home, house, cook/steward, car driver health plan.

Planning and Logistics
Senior Planning and Logistics Manager who is excited by a big international challenge in Nigeria

Position
Responsible for all supply and demand issues faced by this growing and complex operation
Manage capacity planning, matching sales and marketing forecasting, promotional campaigns with the manufacturing facility and warehousing capability
Deliver cost effective solutions for raw materials, service and storage
Develop and maintain an effective Bills of Material strategy
Determine how the logistics activities can be built into a value added service for customers
Manage all contract manufacturing business on behalf of Nutricima

Skills and experience
Bachelor' degree with relevance to business studies, logistics supply chain etc
APICS accredited
Strong commercial awareness
Good working experience in logistics preferably in B2B
