Job Description
As Product Manager Industrial Starches for Tate & Lyle, you are responsible for the technical position of the starch products for the European paper, board and plasterboard industry, location Benelux.

Position
· Responsible for the technical position of the starch products for the European paper, board and plasterboard industry
· Developing and implementing a successful marketing strategy, combining technical knowledge and economical insights
· Following trends and developments in products, applications, competitors and equipment to find new opportunities and using these
· Managing international projects like product and costs improvements
· Responsible for preparing, executing and evaluating the entire introduction process of new products in the market
· Maintaining close contacts with the Sales department and their customers and with relevant functional disciplines like R&D, Quality, Production and Planning
· Reporting to the Sales Director Industrial Starch
Profile
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a similar field
· Relevant experience with industrial starches in a technical sales, marketing or product development position
· Good management skills to control the progress of (international) projects
· Excellent presentation and communication skills, with fluency in English and good knowledge of German is an advantage
· Willing to travel frequently (30-40%) in an international business environment
· Personal skills: hands-on, independent, enthusiastic, result-driven, creative, initiator and team player
