You will need to be passionate about food, be excited by product innovation and be able to complement your food studies with practical kitchen skills and a genuine knowledge and understanding of food trends from the restaurant and retail sectors.

Personally you will need to be an involved team member who has very good interpersonal skills, someone who is open and receptive to others ideas, able to draw on others expertise enabling your own continuous learning. Over a two-year period you will be involved in various training programmes that will provide an understanding of cross functional activity that impacts on NPD enabling you to develop your career.
