Job Description

Working for this blue chip food manufacturer this crucial central role focuses on group reporting and production of annual statutory accounts, forecasts and budgets both group and individual. Managing the submissions and also the group pension accounting. Assisting with reviews of new standards and the implementation of new systems around the group. Providing the Group Financial Controllers support with ad-hoc analysis of various accounts and processes. The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with 1 - 3 post qualification experience and preferably top 10 trained. You need to be well grounded in Accounting Practices and have some knowledge of IFRS and consolidation accounts. It would be useful to have worked on some ad-hoc projects and have an understanding of due diligence. Good communication skills and the ability to assimilate information quickly plus experience of multi-site manufacturing are a must.
