Job Description

Working for this blue chip food manufacturer this is a crucial position whilst the company recruits a permanent member of staff. The successful interim candidate could also be considered for the permanent role. This central role focuses on group reporting and production of annual statutory accounts both group and individual, forecasts and budgets. Managing the submissions and also the group pension accounting. Assisting with reviews of new standards and the implementation of new systems around the group. Providing the Group Financial Controllers support with ad-hoc analysis of various accounts and processes. The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified with 1 - 3 post qualification experience and preferably top 10 trained. You need to be well grounded in Accounting Practices and have some knowledge of IFRS and consolidation accounts. It would be useful to have worked on some ad-hoc projects and have an understanding of due diligence. Good communication skills and the ability to assimilate information quickly is a must.
