Job Description

Exciting opportunities have arisen for Logistics First Line Managers to manage, develop and lead a team in delivering excellent results within this 24/7 Manufacturing/Distribution operation. As well as owning some of the UK's most popular food brands, our client also manufactures hundreds of products that cater for the food service industry and are trusted to supply retailer branded products to the UK's major food retailers. You will line manage your team and ensure a culture of continuous improvement becomes commonplace by developing your people. You will encourage teamwork and promote a supportive environment in order to improve business performance. It is essential that you measure and deliver the KPIs to achieve the business plan. The role is broadly based and could include Goods-in, Materials Management, Stores, Warehousing and Despatch.

We are looking for candidates who are used to working in FMCG or fast paced environments and will have excellent leadership skills. You will be a good communicator with a strong desire to influence, change and improve. Your previous background will preferably include some unionised people management. The roles are shift based and require individuals that are flexible, passionate about operations and keen to progress their career within a market leader. A good level of IT Skills are required for these roles along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in this fast moving multi-sku operation. A good knowledge of manufacturing is desired.
