Job Description
As Project Manager New Platforms & Lays at PepsiCo, you are responsible for managing all technical elements of snack development projects and implementing new product, process and packaging developments in NEBU & France, location Utrecht (The Netherlands).

In order to further strengthen the Northern Europe Business Unit (NEBU) in Utrecht, we are currently searching for a highly motivated Project Manager New Platforms & Lays.
Position
· Responsible for managing all technical elements of snack development projects and implementing new product, process and packaging developments in NEBU & France
· Working closely with local and French Marketing to develop and maintain the innovation pipeline
· Developing and executing projects, contributing to the different brand developments
· Setting up product tests with consumers and interpreting the results, whilst using these in the development projects
· Working closely with Operations to implement innovation, providing tools and technical support in the delivery of in market competitive quality advantage
· Collaborating with other local and regional R&D teams on joint NPD initiatives and localise products where relevant into NEBU
· Building and maintaining an external network with several ingredients and equipment suppliers
· Reporting to the Technical Brand Manager Lays, Doritos & New Platforms.
Profile
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Technology, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent
· Several years of relevant project management experience, covering product and process development ideally in a FMCG environment
· Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
· Effective in communication and how to influence people and win support
· Good presentation skills and ability to work within set targets and time frames
· Personal skills: decisive, self-confident, can-do mentality, innovator, commercial aware, creative and pragmatic.
