Job Description
As Senior Technical Project Manager for Mead Johnson, you are responsible for initiating and managing various major engineering projects with focus on performance improvement, expansion, efficiency and innovative cost savings, location Nijmegen (The Netherlands).

In order to strengthen the Mead Johnson organisation we are currently searching for a highly motivated Senior Technical Project Manager.
Position
- Responsible for initiating and managing various major engineering projects with focus on performance improvement, expansion, efficiency and innovative cost savings
- Developing longer range investment plans and assessing regional needs, while balancing these in relation to global and regional capital needs
- Ensuring agreement on investment plans by influencing key stakeholders and management
- Managing multiple technical teams within budgets and project goals
- Understanding of the customer environment, competitive technical competences, finance and the know how to translate this into technical needs
- Working closely together with colleagues from a.o. Engineering, Operations and Quality
- Reporting directly to the Project Director Global Supply Chain Services, based in the USA, and functionally to the Plant Manager Operations Nijmegen
Profile
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an academic performance level
- Senior and relevant successful technical project management experience, preferably in food and/or pharmaceutical engineering in various areas for example spray drying techniques
- Experience in managing, inspiring and directing skilled engineers and contractors
- Track record in managing major engineering projects
- Good understanding of financial aspects of the business in relation to technical projects
- Personal skills: strong communicator, results oriented, high output, self-starter, ability to help others resolve key issues.
