Job Description

Regional Training Chef required. Our client is a well-known, high street, relaxed dining chain who are searching for a Chef who is an experienced trainer with multiple site accountability. You will need to have high energy and a genuine passion for food; be able to engage; inspire and educate, providing the 'tool kit' and direction for front and back of house teams to deliver a fantastic dining experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chef with strong leadership skills who can demonstrate patience and determination, effective management skills with the ability to integrate into teams, to quickly gauge skill levels and to understand best methods and approach, to ensure that colleagues know what is expected of them and where specific training is required. A definite advantage will be if you are already a Chef with a mentoring role across a number of outlets.

There are extensive growth plans for this group over the next 2-3 years it is therefore vital that their strong brand values are up held. Working closely with the Group Development Chef based at Head Office your input, to new menu ideas will be welcome. Your intimate site knowledge will be valuable; allowing you to advise what will work and what will prove a challenge. Visiting suppliers regularly, setting quality levels. There will also be a fair amount of paper / computer work, therefore a degree of computer literacy is essential. First and foremost your passion for food must be unquestionable. Car driver imperative.
