Job Description

Major chilled food group is looking for a Chef with substabitail expertise in Oriental / Asian cuisine encompassing Chinese, Thai, Maya and Vietnamese. This experience will be gained from working in high end restaurants in the UK or Internationally. Must be familiar with modern Oriental restaurants and how to translate authentic dishes to suit western pallets without totally losing translation. As a Chef and culinary expert you will need to be a team player who interacts well with others, sharing your expertise demonstrating a flair and knowledge able to influence and wow customers. You will become the guardian of the developed products and work with the factory to ensure smooth transformation into commercially viable retail products. You will need to be organised and methodical and able to accurately record recipes and costing onto the computer. You will also need to be a car driver/owner.
