This would be the ideal first step into NPD. If you are a Chef who has a solid back ground, with sustained periods of employment in good quality kitchens and have reached at least Sous Chef level and possess a broad food knowledge, with excellent culinary and organisational skills, are well presented in order to front customers this could be the next step of your culinary career path. Ideally classically trained, experienced in cooking methods and techniques, with a forte for the main kitchen. You will need to be level headed, patient and receptive to others ideas with a determination to succeed. This is an opportunity to utilise your culinary talent and expertise to really make a difference developing chilled products for major retail clients. Can you translate menu/recipe ideas into commercially viable products that will fly off the shelves? Are you ready to learn a whole new business strategy that will take your cooking skills and expertise to a new level, that can provide longer career opportunities for the future?

A degree of computer literacy would be a distinct advantage as you will be required to accurately record information, and produce presentations. Car driver essential.
