Job Description

A fast paced chilled food manufacturer requires a Development Manager to proactively drive NPD and Innovation exploring new boundaries from product and process perspective. An engaging team leader is required for this creative food sector to deliver customer confidence through product and strategic category knowledge. A strong Project Manager who can plan and prioritise is vital. Tasked to continue building trusted two way working relations to based on inspiration, trust and expertise. You will have successfully worked in a customer facing capacity with previous experience of new product development and multiple product launches. You will encourage and facilitate closer NPD alignment with Commercial and Technical teams and be accountable for site customer visits. Must have previous first hand experience and a good track record with a major retailer. Reporting to the NPD Controller and working closely with the Technical team ensuring critical time scales are met.
