Job Description

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join this leading and progressive chilled food manufacturer as their new Environmental Manager.  Working closely with the Technical and Production departments, you will proactively lead on the development, management and promotion of environment management systems to drive compliance with legislation, benefits to the business and continual environmental improvement.  With strong leadership and management skills, you will provide training to staff of all levels to ensure that all members of the workforce recognise their own contributions to improve environmental performance.   You will already have a good depth of knowledge and solid experience in this field and will have been instrumental in driving and implementing environmental policies including pollution reduction, waste management and recycling programmes.  You will also have a solid background of working within food manufacture and a sound understanding of its complexities.
