Job Description

Scheme Outline

 

You will have a natural confidence, be well organised and know how to interact and relate to people. You will need to believe in what you are selling, be proud to represent your company and be sharp enough to secure profitable deals that support Bakkavor’s commercial strategy.

 

You will be working on your own, as part of a team and cross functionally to ensure that we sell products that meet a genuine consumer need, that deliver our profit expectations and that get and stay listed in our retail customers. You will also ensure you are well informed about the market in which we operate, be insightful about our customers and the consumers, and last but not least, be aware and knowledgeable about the competition!

 

You will be expecting, or will have attained, a 2:1 business studies degree and have completed a work placement within a commercial or marketing environment preferably within a FMCG business.

 

You will complete two nine month placements doing real jobs, within different businesses, with a varied product portfolio and different customers gaining critical broad commercial experience.

 

There will be a structured training programme containing off and on job training as well as coaching and mentoring.
