Stores Controller

Job Description

This blue chip food manufacturer needs someone to take responsibility for its stores facility from goods in to dispatch. This role requires good planning and time management skills to ensure an effective and timely supply of ingredients to the various production lines, maintaining accurate stock control and traceability systems. In addition to optimising your team, you will also be responsible for safety and hygiene as well as quality and costs associated with the receipt, storage, movement and dispatch of all goods - raw and finished. Existing experience of stores or manufacturing management is required plus in depth knowledge of stock control systems such as SAP. You will also need to have a methodical but progressive approach to systems and processes as well as demonstrate good leadership qualities to develop your teams potential. A results focussed approach is critical.
