Head of Innovation

Job Description

Our client is a dynamic, driven business, operating in challenging and highly progressive chilled categories. They manufacture a wide range of branded and own label products supplying all the retailers.

They want to appoint a Head of Innovation to drive the NPD agenda to give real point of difference and market leadership. Working with the Board and Senior Management you will be the exponent of uniqueness, driving innovation in products through sourcing, process and creative improvements. You will work closely with all the customers - retailers and foodservice operations, and help them pre-empt their consumer's needs for innovation.

It is most likely that you will be a senior operator in a Product Development role within a major manufacturer or retailer. A Chef or Development background would be a significant advantage to bring your passion for food, flair and ability to read and understand the market.
