Manufacturing Management Accountant

Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Management Accountant. The role will be predominantly based in our highly progressive St Helens manufacturing site, but will require occasional travel to our Midlands Head Office and or Southern Manufacturing base.

This chilled added value food business is growing rapidly and we need to find an ambitious, highly persoanble and determinged management acciountant to join our team.

You will be responsible for the preparation and consolidation of the monthly management accounting pack. This will involve presentation to Purchasing Finance controller,Cuisine Centre GM and Purchasing Services Director. You will provide full financial support for the two manufacturing sites and manage t3 direct reports. We want ths Managmeent Accountant to become a super user of the SAP Manufacturing HUB, utilising this to minimize working capital, and to accurately collate the volume and mix financials.

It is essential you can deliver deliver timely and accurate weekly reports, produce the forecast and budget plans for the cuisine centers, assist in the commercial support for sales tariff's and for adhoc cost saving analysis and produce volume and other KPI analysis to assist in analyzing the financials.

The Ideal candidate will be CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent. Will have teh ability to analyse and interpret financial information quickly and accurately, highlighting key trends and communicating clearly. Be fully proficient in excel/word/powerpoint. Exhibit the ability to work to tight deadlines and to deal with changing priorities. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have line management experience. Have a manufacturing background and experience in dealing with non finance management.
