Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join this chilled food manufacturer. You'll be passionate about food, its quality and production. Your main task will be to maintain and develop quality systems, lead the HACCP and sustainability teams and drive the technical function forward. You will act as a centre of knowledge and excellence on matters of quality, safety and due diligence. It is therefore essential that you have experience of working not only in food manufacturing but, ideally, in the production of high risk chilled products. You will need to demonstrate a track record in factory auditing, supplier auditing, undertaking risk assessments, investigating customer complaints, managing teams and driving forward training to continually improve the performance of operatives. A real can-do attitude and strong relationship building skills are essential. You will need to have a recognised qualification in a quality or food related discipline and ideally have at least four years experience in a similar food environment.
