Finance Director

Job Description

This role focuses on providing first-class financial leadership to the business, driving sustainable growth, improvement profitability and ROCE performance in the short, medium and long-term. Principal responsibilities include directing the development and delivery of the business unit vision and strategy and ensuring improvement in profitability, through influence and relentless challenging of the status quo. You will lead the business unit budget and forecast processes and develop relevant product costing systems. You will drive a measurement culture and demonstrate a passion for quality, return on investment and promoting the sustainable financial future of the business. Identifying and championing opportunities for cost reduction or margin improvement you will facilitate a culture of high standards, teamwork and learning with clear accountability and ownership. You will be an effective leader who promotes the highest levels of motivation and manages the team's performance through reviews and appropriately tailored training and development. This requires a strong communicator with a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will have food manufacturing experience.
