Engineering Manager

Job Description

This global branded food manufacturer is looking for an Engineering Manager who can take responsibility for the plant engineering team. They will manage a team of 15 technicians.

This individual needs to be confident and capable and react positively when challenged. They need to be able to engage in business discussions and ensure that there is a clear engineering input.

They will be interacting with engineering technicians, production managers, production engineers, manufacturing managers and the quality team.

They need to have a solid background in Continuous Improvement and Planned Preventative Maintenance. The candidate must have experience of SAP planned maintenance and of managing engineers.

You will need an engineering degree or an engineering apprenticeship developed to HNC level.
