Planning Manager

Job Description

As Planning Manager your role is diverse. You will be take full responsibility for the planning function. You will also provide the link between purchasing and production and converting sales forecasts / budget into production demand. You will maintain and develop a close working relationship with the major customers through review meetings and in depth planning of promotions and increases in demand. To be a success in this role you must have a proven track record in a proven senior planning role, an understanding of planning systems. You must be a team player, able to generate enthusiasm throughout and beyond their work group. You will be highly resilient and tenacious and outwardly positive to customer at all times

The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:
·Sound knowledge of formal planning techniques and understanding of operational processes.
·Effective communication and 'people' skills
·Acute attention to detail
·Drive and energy / self-starter.
